Avi Halpert, an alumnus of Shalhevet School and now a member of the Hawaii Pacific Sharks, is preparing to take part in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The Sharks are seeded seventh and will face the No. 2 seed, Saint Martin’s Saints, in their opening matchup.
The first round is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m. at Pioneer Gymnasium.
