Located in Los Angeles, California, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was founded in 1902. Its current president is Thomas M. Priselac. The hospital has a pediatric ward and is also a training hospital. According to their 2022 annual report, 50,646 patients were admitted for treatment during the calendar year.
U.S. News evaluated almost 900 hospitals across the country to discern the top 50 based on their cancer treatments. The evaluation covered a variety of cancer types, including leukemia, lymphoma, breast, colon, prostate, uterine and ovarian cancers among many others. The hospitals were evaluated based on categories such as patient outcomes, patient experience, care-related indicators like staffing and available technology, and expert opinion through a physician survey.
