City of West Hollywood issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.

We invite you to attend RAHA International’s I-Ran Out of the Closet – The Change Makers event on Feb 12 where you’ll hear stories and perspectives of Iranian activists and create community for those living inside and outside its borders.

The panel discussion will consist of five generations of Iranian LGBTQ+ activists who have sown the seeds of change for the community.

This dialogue is significant and particularly important at a time when Iranian LGBTQ+ activists have received death sentences in Iran for promoting equal rights.

The panel discussion is free and open to the public. Following the panel discussion, there will be a brunch gathering in the West Hollywood Library Community Meeting Room. Tickets to the brunch are available for purchase.
