Sydney Kamlager-Dove, a U.S. Congresswoman representing California’s 37th district, has been vocal on social media regarding recent national security concerns and gender pay equity. Her statements reflect her positions on accountability in government and the need for legislative action to address persistent inequalities.

On March 24, 2025, Kamlager-Dove criticized a national security breach allegedly involving a Fox News host. She stated, “This outrageously dumb national security breach is exactly what you’d expect from a Fox News host leading our military. Everyone involved must be held accountable-starting with Pete Hegseth’s resignation.”

The following day, March 25, 2025, she reiterated her stance on the issue by accusing those involved of dishonesty and called for immediate resignation. She tweeted, “Nothing but Deflection, Evasion, and Inversion. Lying to cover up for your crimes that jeopardized our national security is despicable and irresponsible. Resign now, @PeteHegseth.”

Later that same day, Kamlager-Dove addressed the gender pay gap in another tweet. She highlighted the widening disparity between men’s and women’s earnings and advocated for legislative solutions: “It’s 2025. Women shouldn’t be making 83 cents for every dollar a man makes for full-time work. Yet last year, the gender pay gap WIDENED for the first time in two decades. On Equal Pay Day, let’s recommit to passing the Paycheck Fairness Act—because we deserve equal pay for”
