On Saturday, Feb. 28, Dalayja Hurt-Floyd, a former standout basketball player from Crenshaw Senior High School, was on the court as the Alcorn State Lady Braves secured a 48-38 victory over the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers.

The junior guard, who stands 5-foot-7, chipped in 4 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist over 20 minutes of play.

Hurt-Floyd and Alcorn State’s next matchup is set for Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. at home against the Mississippi Valley State Devilettes.
