On Friday, March 13, Kayla Boozer, a former standout at South Pasadena Senior High School, played for the Vanguard Lions as they earned a 79-75 win over the Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles in their NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament clash.

The matchup, held at Nicholson Arena at 7:30 p.m., marked the team’s first tournament meeting with Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles.

Vanguard’s next contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Nicholson Arena.
