Students can now take a Driver’s Ed course provided by the L.A.C.E.R program after school.

Taking the class will give students the necessary knowledge and hours to take the driving permit test at the DMV. The classes will commence on Feb. 27 and last until Mar. 16. The sessions are Monday-Friday and will start at 3:35 and end at 6:00.

Registration packets are available in the L.A.C.E.R. room in the cafeteria, but space and time are limited. The due date to turn in the registration forms is next Friday, Feb. 24 and these forms can’t be done online.

Only 35 students will be allowed to join the class so first come, first serve. Students also have to be 15½ years or older to sign up for the class.

If students have any further questions or need clarifications, contact Carlos Aguilar through Schoology or at ca@lacerstars.org.
