The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and Genesis have announced a new multi-year partnership aimed at supporting the museum’s programming and expanding its outreach to both local and international audiences. The collaboration will begin with a public program called The Genesis Talks, which will feature quarterly discussions with leading figures from various creative fields. The first event is scheduled for December 4 and will include Michael Govan, LACMA CEO and Wallis Annenberg Director, in conversation with artist Jeff Koons.

Genesis has also pledged significant support for LACMA’s upcoming David Geffen Galleries, a new building designed by architect Peter Zumthor that will house the museum’s permanent collection. Within this space, one gallery will be named the Genesis Gallery. The David Geffen Galleries are slated to open in April 2026, with Genesis serving as the presenting sponsor for the opening gala.
