During an inspection on November 1, 2024, the Food and Drug Administration cited Ocean Group, Inc. in Los Angeles for a violation related to foodborne biological hazards, according to data posted on the FDA’s website.
The FDA website shows that the company was cited for the following problem: ‘You are not monitoring the sanitation conditions and practices with sufficient frequency to assure conformance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices including condition and cleanliness of food contact surfaces, prevention of cross-contamination from insanitary objects and maintenance of hand washing, hand sanitizing, and toilet facilities.’
The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplace and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health. Inspection results are then disclosed publicly.
