Representative Jimmy Gomez, who serves California’s 34th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on X (formerly Twitter) between November 14 and November 15, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political commentary to community recognition.
On November 14, Gomez posted an image with the caption: “https://t.co/hxUz202Ufe https://t.co/UoQrQF4tup”. Later that day, he commented on Florida politics and former President Donald Trump by stating: “Keep it up Ron, with threats like that Trump will move Mar-a-Lago out of Florida. https://t.co/Ik25Et1XY6”.
On November 15, Gomez highlighted a local cultural event by writing: “#TeamGomez presented a certificate of recognition to Lily for bringing Amor Eterno, LA’s Catrina costume exhibit, to life. Her work reflects our community’s diversity in culture and art! https://t.co/RrRepk17Jt”.
Gomez has represented California’s 34th district since replacing Xavier Becerra in Congress in 2017. Prior to his congressional service, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 2012 to 2017. Born in Orange County in 1974 and currently residing in Los Angeles, Gomez holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
