Rep. Jimmy Gomez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California’s 34th district, recently posted several comments on his social media account addressing issues related to government transparency and public accountability.

On February 24, 2026, Rep. Gomez wrote, “Let me be VERY clear. If the DOJ is withholding Epstein files from 2019 that include allegations that Donald Trump sexually abused a minor, the public has a right to see them. End the cover up NOW.”

Later that evening, on February 25, 2026, he posted another message stating, “My god, get grandpa off the stage.”

Shortly after, Gomez commented further with another post: “It was always about the oil.”
