In a post dated April 1, 2025, Gomez highlighted a town hall event at Barrio Action, attended by Los Angeles residents. He conveyed a strong message from the attendees, stating, “Angelenos packed the gym of Barrio Action this weekend at my Social Security Town Hall and the message was resoundingly clear: Keep Elon Musk’s hands off our earned benefits!”

Later that day, Gomez commented on the actions of Senator Cory Booker. He expressed support for Booker’s critique of former President Trump’s policies, noting, “Cory Booker’s been calling out Trump’s chaos since 7 PM yesterday—and he’s still going strong. Keep going, Senator—the whole country is listening!” on April 1, 2025.

Additionally, Rep. Gomez tweeted about an ongoing segment on CNN, where he was slated to discuss economic issues, tagged as #SignalGate. He encouraged viewers to watch the segment, stating, ” LIVE on @CNN to talk #SignalGate and the economy. TUNE IN!” on the same day.
