The City of Los Angeles Youth Development Department, in collaboration with various city departments, community groups, youth coalitions, nonprofit organizations, and local businesses, has announced the L.A. Youth Expo 2024. This summer resource fair is aimed at youth and young adults aged 15-25 and will provide free community resources, job opportunities, networking events, mentorship connections, and leadership program opportunities.
The event will feature a range of activities including youth employment and training sessions, culinary cooking demonstrations, "Impact" Teen Drivers workshops, mental health and wellness programs, civic engagement initiatives, academic enrichment opportunities, housing and food support services. Additionally, there will be giveaways and raffles.
The expo is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Los Angeles Trade Technical College located at 400 West Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.
