Before her current role in Congress, she served in both the California State Assembly from 2018 to 2021 and the California Senate from 2021 to 2023. Born in Chicago in 1972 and now residing in Los Angeles, Kamlager-Dove earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in 1994.
