Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who represents California’s 37th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets addressing government spending, American sports terminology, and preparations for upcoming international sporting events.
On December 6, 2025, Kamlager-Dove publicly criticized Kash Patel over alleged misuse of government resources. She wrote, “Stop abusing taxpayer dollars for you and your boo’s personal use, Kash. Quit being cheap and just order an Uber. I’ll be expanding @RepRaskin and I’s investigation into your FBI jet joyrides to include this. We’ve got our eyes on you.”
The following day, she commented on American sports culture with a post stating, “This is unpatriotic… in America, we call it soccer “ (December 7, 2025).
Later that same day, Kamlager-Dove highlighted her efforts to address visa backlogs ahead of major international sporting events in the United States. She tweeted, “As the US & LA gear up to host the World Cup & Olympics, @RepYoungKim & I are leading the charge to ensure the traveler visa backlog doesn’t prevent international fans from coming to enjoy these games and deliver major economic impact. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who was born in Chicago in 1972 and currently resides in Los Angeles, has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Karen Bass. She previously held positions in the California State Assembly from 2018 to 2021 and the California Senate from 2021 to 2023. Kamlager-Dove graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in 1994.
