Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who represents California’s 37th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on November 10, 2025.
In her first post, Kamlager-Dove voiced strong opposition to health care proposals she believes would harm Americans. On November 10, she wrote: “I refuse to sell out the millions of Americans who are about to see their health care premiums double or worse. I’m a HELL NO on any bill that fails to address Republicans’ health care crisis. A pinky promise from a party led by the world’s biggest liar means absolutely nothing.”
Later that day, Kamlager-Dove commemorated the anniversary of Kristallnacht and spoke out against antisemitism. In her post dated November 10, she stated: “Last night marked 87 years since Kristallnacht, the Night of Broken Glass—a violent antisemitic riot incited by the Nazis. As we remember these horrors, we stand shoulder to shoulder with the Jewish community and recommit to combating the rise in antisemitism & all forms of hate.”
On the same day, she also commented on marriage equality following a court ruling. Her November 10 post read: “Love isn’t up for debate. Marriage equality is the law of the land, and it will stay that way. Today’s ruling proved that.”
Kamlager-Dove has served as U.S. Representative for California’s 37th district since 2023 after succeeding Karen Bass. Before joining Congress, she was a member of both the California State Assembly and Senate between 2018 and 2023. Born in Chicago in 1972 and currently residing in Los Angeles, Kamlager-Dove graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1994.
