Sydney Kamlager-Dove began representing California’s 37th congressional district after succeeding Karen Bass in 2023. She previously served both in the California State Assembly from 2018 to 2021 and the California Senate from 2021 to 2023. Born in Chicago in 1972 and currently residing in Los Angeles, Kamlager-Dove graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in 1994.
