Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who represents California’s 37th district in the U.S. Congress, has used her social media platform to comment on recent political and legal developments. In a series of posts made between February 19 and 20, 2026, she criticized actions she described as corrupt, raised concerns about the use of taxpayer funds under former President Donald Trump, and called for accountability related to associates of Jeffrey Epstein.
On February 19, Kamlager-Dove posted: “Doing corrupt sh*t over and over doesn’t make it any less corrupt. Thanks for saying the quiet part out loud—this IS a brazen conflict of interest. Adding this to the evidence for my investigation.” The tweet was published at 20:48 UTC.
Later that day, at 22:21 UTC, she alleged misconduct involving former President Trump by stating: “Trump is stealing BILLIONS of your tax dollars for a slush fund controlled by himself. This sh*t is absolutely not legal.”
The following day, on February 20 at 00:38 UTC, Kamlager-Dove commented on legal proceedings in the United Kingdom related to Jeffrey Epstein’s associates and urged action from U.S. authorities. She wrote: “Good for the UK. No one is above the law, and all of Epstein’s co-conspirators must face justice. Now do something, @TheJusticeDept.”
Sydney Kamlager-Dove has represented California’s 37th District since replacing Karen Bass in Congress in 2023. Prior to her current role in Washington D.C., she served in both the California State Assembly (2018-2021) and the California Senate (2021-2023). Born in Chicago in 1972, Kamlager-Dove holds a BA from the University of Southern California (1994) and currently resides in Los Angeles.
