Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who represents California’s 37th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on April 13, 2026, addressing concerns about the President and the state of the economy.
In her first post at 19:02 UTC, Kamlager-Dove wrote: “Absolutely delusional. Impeach or invoke the 25th.”
Later that day at 19:49 UTC, she commented on Vice President’s religious background and called for action: “Our Vice President is literally Catholic. He must muster the courage to invoke the 25th Amendment.”
At 20:57 UTC, Kamlager-Dove referenced economic difficulties with another tweet: “Economy so bad grandma has to work as a delivery driver and the President of the United States has to eat McDonald’s”.
Sydney Kamlager-Dove began representing California’s 37th congressional district in 2023 after succeeding Karen Bass. She previously served in both chambers of California’s state legislature—from the State Assembly between 2018 and 2021 and in the State Senate from 2021 to 2023. Born in Chicago in 1972, Kamlager-Dove resides in Los Angeles and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
