Sydney Kamlager-Dove has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Karen Bass as representative for California’s 37th district. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she was a member of both the California State Assembly (2018-2021) and the California Senate (2021-2023). Born in Chicago in 1972 and currently residing in Los Angeles, Kamlager-Dove graduated from the University of Southern California in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree.
