Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, who represents California’s 37th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets raising concerns about federal resource misuse and calling for further investigation into actions taken during the Trump administration.

On February 23, 2026, Kamlager-Dove wrote: “Lol they’re not your friends, Kash. And you can’t use federal resources—including the FBI’s $62M private jet—to go on a taxpayer-funded Olympic getaway & locker room bender. Adding it to the evidence file for our investigation, @RepRaskin.” Later that evening, she followed up with another post stating: “Damn straight.”

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Kamlager-Dove questioned actions taken by the Department of Justice during Donald Trump’s first term: “Why was the Department of Justice directed to ‘stand down’ their investigations into Jeffrey Epstein after his arrest during Trump’s first term? Trump won’t give us the truth. Bill Barr and Christopher Wray must testify before @HouseJudiciary.”

Sydney Kamlager-Dove has served in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Karen Bass. She previously held positions in both the California State Assembly and Senate between 2018 and 2023. Born in Chicago in 1972, Kamlager-Dove resides in Los Angeles and is an alumna of the University of Southern California.
