Kayla Boozer, a former standout from South Pasadena Senior High School and now playing for the Vanguard Lions, is set to participate in the Division II NCAA Basketball Tournament.
The Lions earned a No. 4 seed and will face off against the fifth-seeded Cal State Los Angeles Golden Eagles in their opening matchup.
The game is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Nicholson Arena.
