Former Salesian High School standout Erik Rodriguez took the mound for Washington State on Monday, April 6, when the Cougars were defeated 18-0 by Oregon State in an NCAA Division I baseball game beginning at 4:05 p.m.

The game was held at Bailey-Brayton Field and marked their first meeting with Oregon State this season.

Rodriguez gave up five earned runs in just 0.2 innings pitched.

The Cougars are set to face the Beavers again at Bailey-Brayton Field on Tuesday, April 7.
