Former Salesian High School star Erik Rodriguez helped lead his college team, the Washington State Cougars, to a 12-6 victory over the Nevada Wolf Pack in NCAA Division I baseball at 4:05 p.m. on Friday, March 27.
The matchup was held at Bailey-Brayton Field and marked the teams’ first meeting this season.
Rodriguez pitched 1.2 innings, allowing two earned runs, issuing two walks, and notching one strikeout.
The Cougars are set to face Nevada once more at Bailey-Brayton Field on Saturday, March 28.
