Restaurant owners get a little leeway to return to profitability as Mayor Eric Garcetti announced his Safer LA order.

The order will permit more activities with certain modifications. Restaurants may reopen for outdoor dining in compliance with several restrictions.

Among these restrictions, face coverings are required for staff that may come in contact with customers and staff must verbally inform customers, and place signs stating that only those from the same household can share tables.

Outdoor dining table sharing must be capped to six people per table, and tables should be at least eight feet apart.

While some restaurant owners may have been pleased with these announcements, Pineapple Hill Saloon and Grill in Sherman Oaks owner Angela Mardsen, who previously posted a viral video voicing her frustration, said “That’s great news, but they should have done it earlier,” she told The Daily Caller.
