‘Hercules’ star Kevin Sorbo is planning to sue Facebook for not giving him a heads-up before removing his posts and even deleting his page.
The ban on the actor occurred after Sorbo posted content that questioned mask-wearing and COVID-19 restrictions.
The actor has been posting messages on his Facebook page questioning the need for making children wear masks. He said that based on his own research and discussions with doctors the percentage of people surviving a COVID-19 infection is pretty high.
He argued that if the survivability rate is around 99.4 to 99.7 percent then the people in power should relax their COVID-19 restrictions, especially on children. He said that seeing kids with masks on is “child abuse” for him.
But the actor was quick to point out that he does not argue the validity of the virus. He says that he believes that it is highly contagious but he reiterates that if the survivability rate is high then there’s no need to worry too much.
Sorbo is suing Facebook because he argues that the social media company is limiting his ability to make a living. In an interview with Epoch Times he said that most of his speaking gigs and other sources of livelihood depend greatly on social media, especially Facebook. By banning him from that platform, he argues that Facebook is robbing him of his livelihood.
