Of the 10,081,570 people living in Los Angeles County in 2019, 50.7 percent (5,112,188) were women and 49.3 percent (4,969,382) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the LAX Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,272,697-to-3,258,135. In the 65 and over age range, there were 757,893 females and 578,085 males.
