The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Alex Padilla, Alex Padilla for Senate, refunded $1,000 to Lidiya Gessese on July 26, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Alex Padilla for Senate has refunded $19,300 total since Feb. 1.
