City of Los Angeles issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
We know that this pandemic has made paying for basic needs, including housing, especially difficult for many.
The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program provides financial assistance for rent and utilities to income-eligible California renters and their landlords who have been impacted by COVID-19.
Angelenos can apply starting September 1 at 7 a.m. by visiting HousingisKey.com or calling 833-687-0967.
Renters who have already submitted an application to the City’s Emergency Renters Assistance program will receive detailed instructions on the next steps by phone or email from the Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department
