The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced the opening of a new Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Los Angeles to support businesses and individuals affected by winter storms, tornadoes, flooding, landslides, and mudslides that occurred from January 31 to February 9. Affected homeowners and business owners may apply for low-interest loans to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory, and other assets.

The center will be located at the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and will operate for one week only, from Wednesday, May 29 to Wednesday, June 5. SBA customer service representatives will be available at the center to answer questions about the disaster loan program, explain the application process, and assist individuals in completing their electronic loan applications. No appointment is necessary.
