Shawn Byrnes, a member of Del Rey MD, was honored with the Rookie of the Year Award during the annual Breathe Free Conference held by Del Rey MD's parent company National Breathe Free Sinus & Allergy Centers. 

Byrnes works as a seasoned leader with extensive experience in real estate, healthcare, hospitality, and higher education. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Ottawa University. Known for his commitment to excellence and passion for helping others, Shawn has driven positive change in diverse industries. His leadership roles have emphasized growth, innovation, and exceptional service, while he also enjoys sports, cycling, and mentoring youth.

"Rookie of the Year is awarded to those who make an immediate and impactful difference, and Shawn Byrnes at Marina Del Rey has done just that,” said Todd Tomlinson, National VP of Operations at National Breathe Free. “His enthusiasm, fresh perspective, and outstanding performance have quickly made him an invaluable team member. Shawn's remarkable contributions in such a short time truly deserve this recognition."

The annual Breathe Free Conference hosted by National Breathe Free ran from April 24 to April 28 and honored several members from centers across the country. 

DelRey MD operates as an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) practice, affiliated with National Breathe Free, according to their website. They list their services to encompass a spectrum of treatments tailored to address allergies, sinus complications, and various ear, nose, and throat ailments. Their Board Certified Otolaryngologist is Dr. Farhad Sigari.
