On February 18, 2025, Rep. Gomez tweeted about privacy concerns involving high-profile figures and cryptocurrency: "Thanks, @SRuhle, for helping sound the alarm. Musk and DOGE's illegal attempts to steal personal taxpayer info shouldn't be ignored. We just need 3 House Republicans to step up and join us in passing legislation to keep Americans' info and money safe."

In a tweet dated February 19, 2025, Rep. Gomez voiced his support for Ukraine amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions: "Only Ukraine, a sovereign nation, should be able to determine its own future.
