City of West Hollywood issued the following announcement on Aug. 24.
Join us at our NextGen Summer Social where #WeHo's Next Generation is invited to meet neighbors and business owners, learn more about the initiative, and provide feedback about City programs and events!
We launched the NextGen initiative in 2016 to enhance outreach and engagement with the City’s 40-and-under population. Nearly half of our residents are under the age of 40, yet many younger people in the City are not actively engaged in local decision-making. The NextGen is passionate about a myriad of issues, yet this age group is disproportionately underrepresented at all levels of governmental leadership, as well as in the voting electorate.
We encourage you to come mix and mingle on the deck of the Aquatic and Recreation Center at West Hollywood Park!
