Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, representing California's 37th district, has expressed her views on several current issues through a series of tweets. Kamlager-Dove, who succeeded Karen Bass in Congress in 2023, has a background in the California State Assembly and Senate. Her recent tweets address topics ranging from sports inclusivity to government ethics.

On February 6, 2025, Kamlager-Dove criticized former President Donald Trump's stance on Title IX and women's sports. She stated: "Sports should create a sense of belonging—not divide us. If Trump really cared about 'protecting' women in sports, he wouldn't be trying to abolish the agency that implements Title IX. This is about demonizing an already marginalized community to distract from his incompetence."

On February 8, 2025, she raised concerns about Elon Musk's influence over government contracts and potential conflicts of interest. In her tweet, she remarked: "Elon Musk has taken at least $20 billion in government contracts. Now, he has the ability to shut off payments to his competitors. I joined @RepDeborahRoss in urging DOJ to enforce ethics laws that place guardrails on government employees who have such clear financial conflicts..."

Later on February 8, 2025, Kamlager-Dove announced her participation in a broadcast discussing these issues further. She tweeted: "We’re fighting back—tune into @MSNBC today at 3pm PT to learn how."
