Representative Jimmy Gomez, currently serving California's 34th district in the U.S. Congress, has voiced his concerns on various political issues through a series of tweets. His remarks touch upon significant topics such as financial regulation, economic policies, and international relations.

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Gomez expressed his apprehension about the potential influence of Elon Musk and Dogecoin (DOGE) over the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). He emphasized that "We can’t let Musk and DOGE take over the CFPB—the agency that CONGRESS created to protect Americans from Big Banks ripping them off." He highlighted the agency's role in returning over $1 billion to veterans, students, and working families over its 14-year history.

Later that day, Gomez commented on reports regarding inflation and rising grocery prices. He criticized former President Trump and House Republicans for proposing tax cuts for billionaires at the expense of healthcare and food programs for children and working families. According to Gomez's tweet "The rich get richer, and the rest get the receipt."

In another tweet posted on February 13, 2025, Gomez addressed foreign policy concerns related to Ukraine. He accused President Trump of adopting a policy of appeasement towards Russia by stating "President Trump’s policy of appeasement towards Russia just sold out the people of Ukraine." He warned that this approach could embolden Moscow's aggressive actions against neighboring countries.
