Rep. Jimmy Gomez, a member of the U.S. Congress representing California's 34th district, shared his views on several issues through a series of tweets on February 14, 2025. Known for his active engagement in political discourse, Rep. Gomez addressed topics ranging from tax policies to community health services and political activism.

On February 14, 2025, Rep. Gomez tweeted about questioning the Ways & Means Committee Chair regarding potential Republican tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. He expressed skepticism about their actions by stating: "Straight up asked the Ways & Means Committee Chair if Republicans would sellout the American people with tax cuts for billionaires and corporations if Elon Musk asked them to. He said no—but their actions say otherwise. Receipts don’t lie."

Later that day, he celebrated a local community health center's milestone anniversary. In his tweet, he acknowledged Arroyo Vista Family Health Center's contributions: "#TeamGomez stopped by Arroyo Vista Family Health Center @ArroyoVistaFHC to celebrate their 44 years of providing quality services to our #NELA neighbors. Congrats, and here's to more years of service!"

In another post on the same day, Rep. Gomez emphasized the importance of persistent activism against opposing forces in various arenas such as Congress and courts: "We have to meet their energy with our energy... If not, we might never get our country back. And that’s what democrats are doing."
