Rep. Jimmy Gomez, who serves in the U.S. Congress representing California's 34th district since 2017, has recently shared a series of tweets reflecting his activities and perspectives on recent events. Gomez, originally from Orange County, California, and holding a degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, is known for his involvement in social issues, notably advocating for Social Security and scrutinizing government officials' conduct.

On March 28, Gomez tweeted about the recent dynamics within Congress, stating, "Wild week in Congress, right?! Here’s how it went down. ", indicating notable occurrences during the week.

Additionally, on the same day, Gomez expressed gratitude to participants in a Social Security Town Hall. These benefits matter to millions, and I’ll keep fighting to protect your Social Security benefits and other critical services our families rely on."

On March 29, Gomez questioned the suitability of Pete Hegseth as Defense Secretary due to alleged mishandling of classified military plans.
