Gomez alleged in his tweet, "Elon Musk and DOGE are infiltrating our agencies, cutting essential jobs....” He suggested these actions primarily serve to benefit the wealthy through tax reductions.

Addressing discrimination issues, Rep. Gomez expressed solidarity with the transgender community.
