On April 1, 2025, in commemoration of Cesar Chavez Day, Kamlager-Dove highlighted the significance of collective voices in labor rights. She stated, "As Trump and Musk attack organized labor and working Americans, the legacy of Cesar Chavez reminds us of the power of our collective voices. Today, we recommit to fighting for labor rights, including better wages, benefits, and working conditions. Happy Cesar Chavez Day!"
On the same day, Kamlager-Dove expressed her support for the transgender community.
