The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has announced the addition of five new members to its board of trustees. The newly elected members are Isha Ambani, David Kaplan, Wendi Murdoch, Andy Song, and Maggie Tsai. These individuals bring diverse expertise from fields such as retailing, digital communications, finance, and entertainment. Their backgrounds span communities across the Pacific Rim and they have a history of involvement in arts and philanthropy.

With these appointments, LACMA's board now consists of 58 voting trustees alongside eight life trustees. This announcement comes as LACMA enters the final phase of constructing its new David Geffen Galleries. This project is part of a two-decade plan to expand and enhance the museum's campus on Wilshire Boulevard. The galleries are scheduled to open in April 2026.
