Amanda Wixon Associate Curator of Native History and Culture | Autry Museum of the American West
The Autry Museum of the American West is unveiling its latest exhibition, "Romance Reimagined," curated by Amy Scott. This exhibit showcases Western art from the museum's collection, featuring works by artists such as Howard Terpning, Tammy Garcia, Tony Abeyta, Ed Mell, Thomas Blackshear, George Carlson, Mian Situ, and Logan Hagege.
In addition to these masterworks, "Romance Reimagined" presents new pieces created by over 70 artists for a miniatures and small works auction. This auction has been curated by Beau Alexander from the Maxwell Alexander Gallery and will be part of the Opening Celebration scheduled for March 8, 2025.
