Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove, representing California’s 37th district since 2023, has shared a series of tweets regarding various issues. Known for her previous service in the California State Assembly and Senate, Kamlager-Dove's recent social media posts touch upon immigration controversies and tax extensions for LA County residents.

On April 14, 2025, Kamlager-Dove addressed the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a legally residing husband and father. She stated, "The Trump Administration already admitted that it wrongfully deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a husband and father here legally. Now, they're outright defying—and lying about—a Supreme Court ruling that orders his return to the US, claiming without evidence that he has MS-13 ties." The Congresswoman criticized the previous administration for ignoring a Supreme Court ruling and for unsupported accusations regarding Garcia’s alleged gang connections.

Later on April 14, 2025, Kamlager-Dove shared a tweet without additional commentary other than a link to an external content, "https://t.co/2AeiHMkwly https://t.co/KSKcK7z80A." The nature of the linked content remains unspecified in the post.

The following day, April 15, 2025, Kamlager-Dove noted Tax Day for the nation and provided relief information for residents of LA County. She clarified that, "It's Tax Day in America—but don't worry, LA County. If you haven't already filed your taxes, you have until October 15 to do so. LA County residents have been automatically granted a six-month extension on their taxes due to the LA County wildfires earlier this year." This extension comes in response to the impacts of the wildfires, allowing affected residents additional time to manage their fiscal responsibilities.

Sydney Kamlager-Dove, born in Chicago, Illinois in 1972 and a graduate of the University of Southern California, continues to advocate for policy changes and support for her constituents from Los Angeles, where she currently resides.
